Can children use SALONPAS® products?
SALONPAS® products can be used for children 12 years old age and over. Parents of children under the age of 12 should consult with a pediatrician before applying SALONPAS® to a child.
Can I wear SALONPAS® patches during exercising?
Yes, you can wear SALONPAS® patches during exercising. However when you sweat, a patch tends to fall off. In that case, please apply a new patch after cleaning and drying the affected area.
Why remove patches after 8 hours? Is it harmful to apply more than 8 hours?
Please remove the patch from the skin after 8 hours application as directed, since it becomes less effective and might cause skin irritation.
What is the shelf-life/expiration date of SALONPAS®?
The shelf-life of SALONPAS® products are 3 years from the production date. Also, the expiration date is indicated on the package.For example, EXP. 02/2013 means expiration date of the product is February, 2013.
Can I use SALONPAS® with other drugs?
If you are taking medications, please consult your healthcare providers before using SALONPAS®.
Can I use SALONPAS® while breast feeding?
Please consult your doctor before using SALONPAS® while breast feeding.
What are the side-effects of SALONPAS® patch products?
The commonly known side-effects of SALONPAS® are skin reactions to patches such as rash, itching and skin irritation. Contact dermatitis is the most often reported side-effects associated with long-term use or high dosage levels. Be sure to observe the label direcitons for use.
I have a latex allergy. Does SALONPAS® contain rubber?
SALONPAS® PAIN RELIEF PATCH/ARTHRITIS PAIN and SALONSIP® AQUA PATCH do not contain natural rubber.
How many consecutive days can I use SALONPAS®?
Do not use for more than 7 days.
How often can I use SALONPAS® per day?
Do not use more than 3 to 4 times daily.
How many patches can I apply at a time?
Please use only one patch at a time.
